BW Logger sits next to your Blackmagic ATEM and records every take, key and marker, frame-accurately. When the show ends, it hands you a multi-track timeline that opens straight in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, or as a real Final Cut multicam your editor can re-cut. Attach each camera's ISO once and post starts finished.

Standard interchange files, not a locked project format. The multicam export builds a real Final Cut multicam clip with one angle per camera, so post can re-cut any take in the angle viewer instead of living with your call.
BW Logger Remote
The show, in your pocket.
BW Logger runs a small web remote on your own network. Scan the QR code in Settings, type the four-digit code, and any phone on the venue wifi becomes a second pair of eyes: the running timecode, the live log, and one tap to drop a marker from anywhere in the building.

Nothing to install. It is a web page served by the app itself. No app store, no account, no cloud.

Your director can mark their own replays. Colour-coded presets, with an optional to-do flag for anything post needs to fix.

Before you buy
How does the license work?
One license activates one computer, for life. Buy once, get your key by email, activate online in the app. After that one-time activation the app never needs internet again. No subscription, and updates are included.
How is payment handled?
Checkout runs through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They process your payment securely, apply the correct VAT for your country and email you an invoice. We never see your card details. See our Terms for the full conditions.
Does it need internet during a show?
No. Internet is required once, to activate your license. After that the app runs fully offline: logging happens on your local network between the app and the switcher.
Can I move it to a new computer?
Yes. Deactivate on the old machine from the app and activate on the new one; both steps take a brief internet connection. Machine died? Contact us and we free the seat.
Which ATEM switchers are supported?
Any Blackmagic ATEM reachable over your network, from ATEM Mini to Constellation. Auto-scan or manual IP. No hardware yet? Use simulator mode.
Can someone on their phone mess up my show?
No. The phone remote is off until you switch it on, it stays on your own network, and it is gated by a four-digit code that locks out after repeated wrong guesses. A phone session can watch, place markers and start a recording. It cannot stop one: stopping is reserved for the operator at the machine, or for automation holding the separate full-access token.
Why FCPXML, FCP7 XML and EDL instead of a Resolve .drp?
A .drp is an undocumented binary only Resolve can write reliably. Our interchange files import natively into Resolve, Premiere and Final Cut as real timelines with tracks, transitions and markers, and keep your show portable.
